Some say, she may or may not be the inventor of this short garment, but one is sure – extremely short skirts were Quant’s trademark (popularised by that time most wanted model Twiggy). Btw. she named it after her favourite car – the Mini. In 60’s Quant really revolutionised the fashion with her forward-thinking and rule-breaking ideas. There are couple more items which she put into the fashion hall of fame; colourful and patterned tights, skinny rib sweater, hot pants and waterproof mascara (!!!). She was also the first garment designer to use PVC and she popularised the bob haircut (invented for her by Vidal Sassoon). In 2015. Mary Quant became a Dame due to her outstanding contribution to British fashion.

Simple ideas are always the best ones and wrap dress truly is a symbol of femininity and independence!

That is why this year’s shoe trend couldn’t get unnoticed and I think it deserves couple of photos in our journal. Ladies and gentleman, I’m talking about kitten heels. Opposite to big chunky sneakers, kitten heel slingbacks are feminine, elegant and delicate. And also flattering to the foot and easy to walk in. Long live the elegance!

So their primary function is keeping our hands warm, but they can also be a great fashion accessory, and are often used as stunning eye catchers. Here are couple of gloves that caught my eye!

I would never design something I would’t wear myself, I have to feel comfortable when my designs get public.

My style is simple, more casual than elegant and it is all in basics with just a few twisted accents.

I think that good style lies within those carefully placed details. Unexpected zipper, just a little splash of colour or see thru cut out can make dull basic into real statement piece.

And what’s most important, it makes fashion much more fun!
